The Daisy Movement was founded on August 1, 1981 by Mrs. Louise Ward at Aylmer, Quebec.
The purpose is to pray for priests, to offer one day a week for a particular priest so as to support him in his priestly ministry and spiritual life. For more information click here.
The purpose of the Daisy Program is to support our priests, deacons and our Bishop spiritually every day of the week, and to encourage them in their ministry.
The seven-petalled Daisy became the symbol for the priests, and seven prayer partners were found to pray for each priest each day of the week on their assigned day. The Daisy symbolizes simplicity, gift of self, and unity.
